Manipuri Style Chak Angouba Recipe (Vegetable Pulao Recipe)

Manipuri Style Chak Angouba Recipe (Vegetable Pulao Recipe) is a staple food for Manipuri cuisine. They prefer to use black rice more than the normal white rice. Vegetables are grown in their house gardens so they mainly consume ingredients that are fresh and grown in their households. Since the vegetables are grown at home and the same is sold in their market, their cooking includes all seasonal vegetables only. Chak Angouba is cooked rice with vegetables and simple spice powders.

They also prefer to use many herbs like chives for their everyday dish, this dish also consists of chives which is tossed along with the rice but we have not added in this recipe, but you can add them or spring onions instead when you are trying out this recipe.

Serve the Manipuri Style Chak Angouba Recipe (Vegetable Pulao Recipe) along with Smoked Tandoori Paneer Tikka Recipe and Lauki Raita Recipe (Grated Bottle Gourd Yogurt Salad) to finish your Sunday meal.
