Ingredients:
1 (3 pound) broiler chicken (Clean chicken and cut into pieces)1 medium onion, chopped fine
3 cups boiling water
1 1/2 cups canned tomatoes
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tbsp garam masala
Salt and pepper

Directions:
1. Heat olive oil in pan and brown chicken on both sides. Add onion, cinnamon, tomato and season totaste. Add 1 cup water; cover and cook over low flame until chicken is almost done.
2. Remove cover. Add rice and 3 cups boiling water. Cook over low flame until rice is tender. Add more water, if needed. Stir occasionally, but carefully, so as not to break up the chicken pieces.
3. Remove from heat and allow to stand for a few minutes before serving.
